A newbie driver would be better off driving an old model vehicle rather than a top of the line market class ride. Unless you have a bottomless reservoir of cash, one must be wary of how one drives on the road. Being new means a greater propensity to commit mistakes and thus cause accidents. Since insurance companies keep tabs on one’s claims on insurance profile, a lower or nil claims profile would translate to lower insurance rates. A young driver’s records are never lost and would be a reflection of one’s risk level as one grows older. Many times, due to a driver’s records, the premiums are so steep that it would be cheaper to take the bus or take a taxi everyday.

Find city driving too intense and exhausting? You are not the only one. Some people may even think of the driving as a sport in itself, extreme sport that is. You might have experienced suffering from a headache with all the driving that you do to and from work and you sometimes may think that driving is not worth all the hassle, maybe commuting would be better. Nevertheless, you know how hard it would be not to have the conveniences and freedom that having a car may offer. Although you have to go through horrendous traffic, polluted districts, difficult and pricey parking, endless constructions, and aggressive drivers, you still would choose these over crowds in the subway, bumpy taxi rides, and perverse strangers.

One essential requirement for vehicle safety is to provide a space for your vehicle. Allow an appropriate space between your car and others following you to have enough time to react in case you are caught unguarded such as sudden and unexpected moves from the car in front of yours. Moreover, ensuring that nobody is tailgating you prevent risks of getting hit from behind. Staying at a single lane provides sufficient space on your car’s sides.

Having a car is one of the most important conveniences you can give to your family. If you have young kids, then you would understand what this means. When you have your own vehicle, you do not need to worry about how you would get you family to places, with all the accoutrements you and your family require. It is very inconvenient to travel through public transport with a baby and a toddler with you. You would need to lug around strollers and huge diaper bags too.
