Insurance scams, especially for cars are becoming rampant nowadays. What happens though is that all insured individuals assume the costs for these scams through higher premium rates. So instead of one paying for better service with the higher cost of premium, one may just be paying for the same insurance or even worse, pay for lesser coverage due to the malevolent activities off these unscrupulous individuals. These are selfish individuals without regard for their fellow man.
