Children learning to walk brings exhilaration to their parents but at the same time brings also fear that they might stumble and fall. When kids learn how to drive, the emotions parents feel are quite akin to what they had when they were beginning to walk. Parents welcome the progress in their children’s lives but are protectively fearful at the same time being aware of their inexperience in the new-learned activity or function. Parents will have an innumerable “what ifs” in their minds as their teen son or daughter ventures out into the street in the family car? What if he did not see a road hazard? What if he did not avoid unsafe driving situation? What if… and on and on.

If one is a new driver, it would be a good idea to purchase a car for one’s use in the lower echelon insurance group. After building up on driving experience and avoiding penalty points, a no claims profile can be established this would help one move up in the insurance groups without premium rate imposable increase.

Creating a space for your vehicle while on the road is a must for vehicular safety. Appropriate spacing that you put between your car and the others allows you to have enough time to react in case the driver ahead of you makes sudden and unexpected maneuvers. Additionally, making sure that no one is tailgating you avoids the risk of your vehicle being hit from behind. Keeping to one lane also creates adequate space on your vehicle’s sides.

Gas prices have hiked up so fast in the past year and are projected to remain in the higher levels all throughout the rest of the year and the next. As vehicle-owners it is understandable that we are looking for ways to save on gas, some even opting not to use their cars as often as they did before.
